The LEARN Project has worked hard to devise and implement a sustainability programme to ensure the work that we do continues for future generations of learners. We have been successfully running since 2012 and every year has seen an increase in the number of disadvantaged schools that we have positively impacted and an improvement in the work that we do. We base all our projects on excellence, from planning to implementation, with our focus on long-term sustainability.
Careful planning and detailed preparation ensures that each beneficiary school library and classroom book corner are inviting spaces that enhance learning. We have a dedicated and committed team, including volunteers who have been well trained on the core principles of The LEARN Project.
The LEARN Project team regularly attends talks and events around education and literacy to keep us up to date with the latest information regarding literacy development in South Africa.
